Association for Peace and Prosperity is a non-profitable, non-political and non-Governmental Organization. It was established in 1989, subsequently got registered in 1992.It’s working for the betterment of oppressed communities by implementing development projects/programs and maintaining and promoting peace and harmony in the target areas of District Toba Tek Singh. It operates on humanitarian basis without any discrimination of sex, race, color, caste, creed and religion.

Message

In the 15 years history of  the organization it gives me great pleasure to be honored as President when we look into the past 15 years of organization we had to face so many hurdles and challenges from the very beginning and even today at this stage but got success in spite of all. It was a great success to work with communities at grass root level for the social change.

It was discovered that people do have capacity and natural ability and resources and they also present solution to the problems. Being agent of social change, we should provide an opportunity and platform in order to get together. We must enrich them with new ideas, updated information and knowledge as per the need of the modern age. There’s a dare need to provide training to the potential leaders and community based organizations.

We started working bravely for the Women’s Rights and Child Rights and got positive signs in this regards. During the last 15 years the element of Interfaith was the most successful. We saw and learnt, we must sit together; we must respect the other creeds and accept it, which was a very successful experience.

I would like to extend my gratitude toward benefactors, partner, who always been kind to extend their moral, technical and financial assistance. In order to bring true a dream of peaceful society, we shall be working for the human rights, minority rights, child rights and women’s rights in an effective and better way.
